
Who We Are
The British Channel Islands WWII Remembrance Campaign is an unincorporated, volunteer-led association. It was founded by individuals whose families experienced the wartime Occupation of the Channel Islands, with the aim of preserving memory, promoting awareness, and ensuring public remembrance of those affected by the events of 1940–1945.

Leading Occupation Historian Marcus Roberts is an advisor to this Campaign.

British Channel Islands WW2 Remembrance Campaign is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the memory of the victims of Channel Islands Occupation during World War 2. We are committed to educating the public about the historical significance of the Channel Islands Occupation and the impact it had on the people of the islands. Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about keeping the memories of the occupation Victims alive. Join us in our mission to preserve the memory of those who suffered during the Channel Islands WW2 occupation.

The principles of integrity and sound governance are central to the British Channel Islands WW2 Remembrance Campaign’s ability to pursue its long-term mission. These values ensure we remain transparent, accountable, fair, and responsible in all our actions.

As the Campaign enters a new chapter, we are evolving to meet future challenges while staying true to our founding purpose. To support this growth, the Campaign lead has adopted a fixed four-year term, reflecting a commitment to fresh leadership and structured renewal.
We are also proud to welcome new volunteers stepping into key roles, bringing fresh perspectives and energy to our shared work.
This transition reflects our ongoing dedication to good governance and sustainable progress—ensuring the remembrance of our shared history continues with integrity and inclusivity.
